Bureau van Dijk Electronic Publishing (“BvD”) is a major publisher of business information, and specialises in private company data combined with software for searching and analysing companies. It is owned by Swedish private equity group EQT.
==Overview==
BvD's product range combines data from regulatory and other sources, including 120 information partners, with flexible software to allow users to manipulate data for a range of research needs and applications. Unlike other providers of content, BvD reveals their sources and shows the source data – allowing users to create their own analytics and predictive analysis based on underlying primary data and reporting.
Around a third of BvD's staff are based in Brussels working on product management, analysis and software engineering. A further 70 are researchers are based in the UK and Singapore, with the remainder working in sales and customer services in BvD's offices around the world.
